Hey there, avid golfers and digital collectors! Today, we’re digging into the exciting world of Puttfolio’s Digital Collectibles, lovingly known as Player Cards and Boosters. But wait, before we dive into the juicy details, let’s set the scene and get you acquainted with the rarities that make our game a hole-in-one!
The five rarities that can be found in Puttfolio are Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Unique.
We can differentiate the Common rarity from the rest. Don’t let the name fool you; Common Digital Collectibles are anything but ordinary! While the other rarities have limited numbers from the get-go, the Common rarity is unlimited at the beginning of each year. But don’t fret, by year’s end, a new edition is born, locking in the number of Common Digital Collectibles for that year. In 2025, you might have 3,000 of a certain type, but come 2026, the count could grow to 3,300!
Additionally, the Common rarity keeps things simple — no performance modifiers here! If your athlete scores 100 points, you earn 100 points with that Player Card. Straightforward, right?
The other four rarities differentiate themselves in 3 particular areas (on top of design):
Limited Edition Embrace the thrill of scarcity! With a hard cap on the total number of Limited Editions each year, these gems are as strategic as they come. Plan your collection wisely and maximize your winning potential!
Performance Modifiers Step up your game with performance modifiers! As rarities level up, their performance modifiers come into play. Align a
Rare
Player Card for an athlete with 100 points, and voilà, the points shoot up to 120 for the Tournament Week!
Booster Slots Boost your way to victory! Rarer cards mean more booster slots to customize your gameplay. Strategize, tweak, and give yourself the edge you need to conquer the leaderboard!

Now that you’ve learned the different rarities, there are two more advantages they hold.
First, some Tournaments within a Tournament Week may require you to align specific rarities to participate. This is to ensure that everyone has a good winning chance, but most of all allows us to build a reward system close to your expectations and where everyone can benefit from.
Second, Player Card rarity is your key to unlock Perks! The prized Unique Player Card holders receive the most valuable Perks, and it’s a treat like no other. If the athlete’s Perks come in one type, the Unique holder gets dibs before a raffle for the other rarity tiers. Talk about a sweet deal!
